How do I update my beneficiaries?
Beneficiaries can be updated on your account at principal.com.

I’ve moved, how can I update my address?
Your address can be updated through your UKG Pro account by clicking here.  

I don’t remember my username, how do I log-in?
Click on the "Forgot my Username" link in your Principal account.  

When will I be eligible to withdraw?
If you terminate employment with the Company because of your total disability or retirement, you may request a distribution during the Annual Distribution Window (normally November to December) during the first plan year following the end of the plan year in which you terminate employment with the Company, or during any subsequent plan year.
If you terminate employment with the Company for any other reason, you may request a distribution during the Annual Distribution Window (normally November to December) during the sixth plan year following the end of the plan year you terminated employment with the Company, or during any subsequent plan year.

Can I take a lump sum withdraw?
If your balance exceeds $5,000 your vested benefits will be paid in installment payments over a period of five years—unless you elect a longer period of distribution.

Can I elect to withdraw at any time?
The plan has a specified Annual Distribution Window each fall. This begins when statements are released and is approximately 6-8 weeks long. Your statement includes the Annual Distribution Window dates. 

How is my Distribution Taxed?
All distributions from the Plan are taxable income unless you elect to roll over the distribution. A 1099 form will be provided to you.

I misplaced my 1099, how can I get another copy?
Copies of yoru 1099 for calendar year 2022 and prior can be requested from TI-Trust Bank by calling them at 217-228-8060.  For forms for 2023 and forward will be published in Principal's site via principal.com under your personal account.
